1.) Choose one of the prompts above for your response.
The prompt: Was the king’s system of trying
criminals fair by modern standards? Why or why not? What does the Bible have to
say about this? How does the king’s system compare?
2.) Reread the story with your prompt in mind.
Take notes and mark any quotes that could work in your response.
3.) Write your response of 250-300 words. In
your response you must:
Fully answer all questions in the prompt that
you have chosen with detailed explanations of your opinions.
Support your opinions with evidence from the
story with at least one direct quote. Each quote must be integrated into your
writing.
Include references to specific verses if
necessary for your prompt.
Parenthetically cite any direct quotes or verses
in MLA format. You will get in trouble for plagiarism if citations are not
included. You must always give credit to any outside source.
Cite all sources used to write your response in
a works cited page including an entry for “The Lady or the Tiger?” and the
Bible (if used).
