Emotional Development

Question 1

Write a short essay on 5-10 strategies and/or activities that you feel are the most important that support children’s social and emotional development. The strategies/activities must be easy to implement and require minimal materials and directions. Each strategy/activity write-up will include four elements:

1. The name of the strategy/activity
2. The skill(s) the strategy/activity will support
3. Step-by-step directions
4. A list of materials if necessary

Rubric:

This essay will be submitted in MS or RTF format only as an attachment. No other formats please. Number each strategy starting with number one. Consider using bullet points within the strategies as this will lend to a clear message. Make sure you support your strategy with in-text citations to link to your references. Do not recopy the questions back into your paper. MS word or RTF format only. Other formats will not be opened, and will be scored as not completed.

In your initial post, address the following:

• Describe how globalization has changed the way American companies are doing business.
• How do these strategies affect people in other parts of the world?
• In what ways do you believe this change has benefited American organizations and their customers?
• Are there ways in which organizations and their customers have been adversely effected? Explain your position.

Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references.
