Discussion Question

Research and read one HR related journal article or an article from a publication in the field of HRM. The article you select should represent what you believe to be reflective of a functional  – employment, compensation, staffing, training, etc. within the field of human resources management.

(1) The field of psychology has sometimes been criticized for being so cautious about making a type I error which might result in making frequent type II errors. How do you think the field of psychology should balance the issue of type I vs. type II errors? How is a type I error related to a type II error?
 

(2) Indicate at least two directional and nondirectional hypotheses you would like to test relating either to your current job or the job you would like to do after graduation. Make sure to indicate whether each hypothesis is directional or nondirectional
