Question 1

Do digital (computer) forms of communication enable and enhance social connections, or do they harm them? In other words, are the social connections that are fostered through computers and mobile devices as strong and true as those that arise from face-to-face interactions? Are there certain types of social and romantic interactions that should always be conducted face-to-face rather than via an electronic device? Is social media an effective tool for prompting and organizing social change?

Question 2

In a 500-750 word paper, discuss how current technology is used by law enforcement in carrying out their duties and provide examples of new technology to include body cameras. How have these new technologies changed the way police do business?

What are some of the issues / concerns this new technology brings with it? Include in your discussion the issues of transparency, accountability, and right to privacy in the use of police body cameras.
