Suppose you were recently hired for a new initiative as a business continuity lead / manager at a medium-sized healthcare company. You have been asked to prepare a presentation to the Board of Directors on your main duties for the company and how your position could help protect the business in case of a large-scale incident or disaster. You have been alerted that since this is a new initiative and could come with a potentially large price tag, there is skepticism from some of the Board members.

Conduct a study using your textbook and outside sources on the challenges of security and protection. Write a five-page essay in APA format addressing the following concepts:
- Explain the differences between the following elements:
- international security and national security,
- national security and homeland security, and
- preparedness and mitigation.
- Explain the individual challenges of national security, homeland security, international security, and human security.
- In two of these domains, identify security examples of avoidance and transference.
- Analyze obstacles and vulnerabilities of the critical infrastructure key resources (CIKRs) of each domain.
