Violent Crimes

Answer the following questions in a separate Word document as one essay. When you are ready to submit the project, go to the Dropbox and select Unit 5: Assignment.

We have seen an increase in school and workplace violence over the years. Some of these crimes have resulted in numerous deaths in a single instance.

Research any one instance of school or workplace violence and discuss the following questions in your essay:

• What are some events that led up to the incident?
• What are the facts about the incident?
• Who were the offenders?
• What was the initial law enforcement response?
• What was the police response during the remainder of the incident?
• What, if any, changes have been made by those affected by the incident? (police, government, school, workplace, etc.)

This Assignment should be about 2000 words (3–6 pages) in length.

Read the article “Is Email Evil?”. Compare the author’s take on email with your own professional / personal experience using email. Make a case for the importance of email in the workplace OR present an alternative form of communication that could replace email in the professional environment (be sure to provide reasons to support your claims)
