justice system, and clearly describe how their topic is a problem or how a
policy has created more problems within the criminal justice system. The paper
can take the shape of a problem analysis paper, policy analysis paper, applied
problem solving and/or organizational dilemma paper, or a formal APA research
paper.
Students should clearly describe whether the
problem is theoretical or practical (applied) in nature. An in depth
description of the problem should include, at a minimum, answers to causes of
the problem including who, what, why, where, when and how the specific problem
originated within the criminal justice system and why it continues within the
criminal justice system.
