Court Granted Visitation

Question 1

PURPOSE: To give you practice performing legal research, briefing a case, and analyzing cases that you research.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Find two recently decided cases in your state that discuss grandparent visitation. Find one case where the court granted visitation, and one where the court denied visitation.
2. Brief each case.
3. In a one-to-two page paper:
   1. Compare and contrast the cases. Can you reconcile the cases? Why or why not?
   2. Which decision do you find more compelling? why?

PURPOSE: To determine whether you are able to properly brief cases.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Find three cases that Will support the position you have taken on the case for your Final Project. Brief one of those cases using the F+IRAC method.
2. Don’t brief the hypothetical case
